Robert - Message in a Bottle

Dear Mom and Dad, 

            I’m so homesick, I wish I could just go home. I don’t even remember how many days its been since we came to the island. At first the island seemed like a great adventure, there was so many fun things to do! There was plenty of sand to play in and places to explore! But now everything is different. Playing in the sand does not seem as fun and my tummy always hurts! The fruit that Simon helps us littluns’ pick is really good, but I wish I could come home to moms cooking. 

            Ralph is our leader and he’s a good leader, but sometimes he doesn’t know what to do. Jack tries to lead us, but he’s scary. Him and Ralph don’t seem to get along. Ralph scared me too when he pretended I was the pig that he speared. I’m okay though! I really miss you and home so much! I really hope I get to go home someday.
